Yoga and Strength for Injury Recovery
with Clara Gray
Special Workshop!
Saturday, March 29th
1:00PM-3:00PM - Fee: $45/pp
Learn how to adapt and to use yoga practice as a tool to stay mind-body healthy. Also, incorporate strengthening exercises, using bands and breath work (pranayama) to your yoga practice to help heal and avoid new injuries and not aggravating old ones. Often muscle weakness and lack of flexibility can lead to injuries and make the healing process more difficult and slow. This is true also for those that have some kind of long term conditions like Parkinson’s, post stroke, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.
Practice techniques to keep the body moving even when you are dealing with life’s health challenges.
Learn how to modify yoga postures to your body needs and how to incorporate the yoga breathing practice into your daily life helping with stress and also body awareness.
“Movement is the best therapy for the body and mind no matter what you are going through. Believe in yourself and build the confidence to move without fear yet respecting your limitations.” Clara Gray
